Have you ever learned a word in a foreign language then heard that word everywhere? It’s like my awareness of this new word shines a flashlight onto it - forcing me to recognize how common it is. Or maybe it shows up more in my day-to-day existence and my friends use the word more in daily conversation…?

It might just be me, but it seems like this is happening in all realms of life these days. Whether you call it right place and time, thank hard work or the great conjunction of Saturn and Jupiter — things are coming together. Allowing challenge and discomfort and fear to provide contrast to how I want to live has landed me in my dream home on the coast of Portugal surrounded and supported by an inspiring group of individuals. The stark contrast I have experienced over the past month has been the stuff of movies and has left my head spinning. More on this grand adventure later.

I just wanted to acknowledge the flaming pile of dog poop this year has been. However, poop is often used as fertilizer — that is if you’re brave enough to get a lil dirty. So, here’s to getting down ‘n dirty, rising from the ashes, mixing metaphors, and partying like it’s 1999. Oh, and don’t forget to have fun.
